Whether you just moved to a new city or you’ve lived here your whole life, supporting your community is important.

Local charity events in our communities help us to make new connections, have some fun, and give back.

Looking for the best way to get involved, and support your community? Here are a couple of easy tips to help you out.

Get Informed

You can’t support your friends and neighbors if you don’t know what they’re up to!

Staying up to date on community events is easy. You can use social media, browse the local newspaper, or just chat with the people around you.

Whatever resources you use, make sure you know when the next charity event or gathering is coming up!

Get Active

It’s one thing to keep up with the events in your community, but another to get involved in them.

We don’t all have the time to volunteer regularly. That’s okay! Just attending events, giving small donations, or helping to spread the word is enough.

Looking for an upcoming community event in Sacramento, California? Battle of the Badges is the coolest local charity, supporting public safety officials in your neighborhood.

These amateur boxing events are crazy fun to attend. Plus, proceeds go to some of the best local causes.

You’re a part of this community. So why not get involved, have some fun, and show your support?
